If you save them from bleeding out, this increases their FPIS by a medium amount. If you give them a promotion (such as warchief or overlord) then their FPIS increases a ton (fun fact: overlords can technically betray you, but their FPIS increases so much upon being promoted that the chance of betrayal is so incredibly small you'll probably never see it happen in-game). As you fight along side a follower, their FPIS increases. I don't know what it's called officially, so I'll just call it FPIS. The PIS is used to determine whether orcs will do certain things, higher scores meaning they are more likely to ambush you, kidnap one of your captains, or cheat death.įollowers have something similar to this. If they kill you, they get a ton of points for the PIS. If they fought you and retreated, they get a medium amount. If the captain merely saw you, or you identified them in the army screen or in the open-world they get a little bit added to the PIS. This score calculates out how often a captain has interacted with you, and what this interaction entailed.
All captains have a PIS (player interaction score).
